Black Pepper is Kali Mirch in Hindi and botanically, Piper nigrum. Traditionally, it has been used in Indian kitchen for a long time now as a spice. Yellowish liquid with a characteristic peppery aroma is obtained when the unripe dried fruit of this black pepper is steam distilled by manufacturers. The oil blends well with plenty other spice oils, rosemary, lemon, lavender, pine to name a few. It is considered quite effective in easing muscle pains when added in massage. The spicy aroma of Black pepper is used in perfume and men’s fragrance. Black pepper is also used to help ease poor digestion, cold and congestion and poor circulation.
